Assam Engineering College celebrated its 17th edition of Pyrokinesis, an annual cultural fest of the institute from 16th of March to 19th of March, 2015.


VIS-A-VIS, an interactive lecture session at AEC (Assam Engineering College) that features eminent personalities from the fields of technology, entertainment, journalists, etc. who have led India through their stellar achievements. These intellectuals interact with the students, faculty members to enlighten and motivate them. In the previous years, VIS-A-VIS presented many well-known personalities from India like Mr Arnab Goswami, Editor-in-chief, Times Now and Dr Uday Kumar Dharmalingam, Assistant Professor, Dept of Design, IIT-G and creator of the modern rupee symbol, His Excellency Shri Ranjit Shekhar Mooshahary, Governor of Meghalaya, Mr Jahnu Barua, eminent filmmaker, Dr Utpal Barua, International award winning artist. This year they had Mr. Naseer Khan-India’s top motivational speaker and Dr. Sanjukta Parashar, 1st lady IPS officer of Assam Cadre.
